Dow AgroSciences visited Cebu Technological University(CTU) – Barili Campus for a pro bono consultancy under the Leadership-in-Action Program. Rebekah Feist, Stephani Wu, Rachael Christiansen, Stefan Boesenbeqg, Thiago Esteves and Josh Develvis  took part in the endeavor of providing productive solutions to BS Agriculture.

Leadership-in-Action Program combines talent development with corporate citizenship in a fresh and effective way. A team is paired with organization or institution (CTU-Barili) to develop solutions to a specific challenge in a community. Participants work virtually for several months and then assemble in the community for one week of intense, productive solution development.

Among those identified for productive solutions to the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA) program are funding, marketing of the program, curriculum, professional practice, university linkage, career-service workshop for students. These were delivered through lectures and hands-on exercises from September 5  to 6.

The solutions presented were found not only essential for the BS Agriculture but to all the programs offered at CTU-Barili Campus. (Pet Roey L. Pascual, Research Chair,CTU-Barili Campus)
