ASEAN Engineer and Cebu Technological University(CTU) President Dr. Rosein A. Ancheta Jr. completed the Regional Integration in Asia (RIA) Course at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM).
He received his certificate on November 12, 2016 in Makati, Philippines.
The Regional Integration in Asia (RIA) course is an intensive program which has been offered by AIM for the past 15 years to enable university executives to test their ideas on cross-border education, using new analytic tools of management learned by AIM graduate students in various courses.
It promotes international cooperation toward developing education systems in the region especially that ASEAN celebrates its 50th founding anniversary.
The course relates to the needs of universities (curriculum, faculty, students, administration, financing, alumni relations, and other stakeholders) in the globalized world economy.
It seeks to open the minds of top decision-makers in schools and colleges on the complexity of cross-border education, especially to explore new forms of cooperation, and to strategically position organizations in meeting challenges in the 21st century. (Office of the Univ. President)
