Demo Sport: Sepak Takraw girls debut at no.3

Sepak Takraw (women), SCUAA 2017, CTU, APARENTE, TAGHOY

Though Sepak Takraw (women) is for demonstration only,   CTU players’ first national finish at number 3 is a show   of aggressiveness and dedication.

Coach Julius   Taghoy and Asst. Coach Maria Elena Aparente supported the girls to overcome the pressure during the week-long fight against   Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), CARAGA Region, and Region II among others.

Bernadette Salubre, Mae Ann Ermac, Jessa Taghoy, Cherelyn Segismar, Marjorie Intong, Jovelyn Ando, Jean Mae Amacna, Jenelyn Cuestas, Glenne Dalogdog, Christine Geolin, Gracela Bariga, and Emmae Bucio   hope to take top spot next year.

The trophy and native carvings   overwhelmed the athletes   at the awarding ceremony on Thursday, February 24.

They joined Sepak Takraw (men) champions from the National Capital Region (NCR) at the culmination in enriching the value of the country’s national game.(UPO)
