Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Regional Director Exequiel R. Sarcauga acknowledged Cebu Technological University-Public Employment Service Office (CTU-PESO) as Job Placement Office (JPO) with Certificate No. ROVII-TCFO-JPO-2017-001 on March 15, 2017.

JPO has been established to provide employment services to students and graduates and coordinate activities with LGU-PESO.

Furthermore, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) holds the annual Regional Search for Best PESO (SBP) where CTU-PESO can be found a consistent performer among others. Awarding is tentatively scheduled on April 19 to 20, 2017 in Cebu City.
The Search for Best PESO is an annual activity that recognizes the significant contributions and outstanding accomplishments of PESOs in the implementation of DOLE employment facilitation programs.
