Honoring CELE passers: A University Culture

Staying true to its culture to reward its topnotchers in board examinations, Cebu Technological University paid tribute to sixth placer Rusty V. Lapus and the rest of the Civil Engineering Licensure Exam (CELE) passers who took center stage  at Cebu Parklane International Hotel on Thursday, May 18.

The hall was filled with   poignant thoughts as Lapus delivered his thanksgiving speech to the university key officials. He received a cash prize apart from the certificate of recognition for his effort in putting the university once again at the limelight.

On giving incentives to deserving graduates, College of Engineering Dean Nolasco K. Malabago in his address said, “Our students will be inspired to study more, and our teachers will double their motivation to produce another top performer.” Dr. Malabago, more importantly, highlighted on the importance of values and character that are aligned  with the university’s core values as they embark on  their professional career.
