CTU Daanbantayan Campus Director Levy S. Lepon left the country early in June for Southern Taiwan, hoping that dialogues with heads of higher education institutions (HEIs) result in partnerships.

Dr. Lepon had a serious discussion with I-Shou University President Jei-Fu-Shaw, who might want to reciprocate the former’s presentation of her campus’ need for student/faculty exchange among others. Specifically looking in the direction of successful Hospitality Management students, Dr. Lepon is positive about the outcome of the effort to engage with international experts.

Other universities she had visited were Shu-Te University and  Cheng Shiu Univeristy. Though MOA signing is yet to be accomplished, at least, initial talks had been made, being the hardest route toward building global ties.

Her recent undertaking added intensity to the campus’ drive to veer away from the ramifications of typhoon Yolanda, whose traces are mostly evident in the northern part of Cebu Province. UPO
