CTU Moalboal and CTU San Francisco won showcased technologies at the 2017 Regional Invention Contests and Exhibits (RICE).
“Formulation and Process of Producing Organic Animal Feed” by Prof. Marivel Go and Prof. Glynne Bate of CTU Moalboal was 1st runner-up while “Process of Making Sea Urchin (Tripnuestes gratilla) Crackers” by Prof. Jonita Literatus and Prof. Cecilia Sicadsicad of CTU San Francisco was 2nd runner-up.
Winners received 10,000 and 5,000 respectively.
Under the utility model (UM) category, 17 entries from CTU campuses were accepted, manifesting a huge support to the Regional Science and Technology Week (RSTW) on June 20 through 22.
Various Filipino inventors and scientists in the region were also present to promote their new inventions and technologies. KML/UPO Contributor
