CTU is STRIDE Project think-tank

The Philippine Association for State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in the Philippines agreed to go for Cebu Technological University and 14 other institutions as the Science, Technology, Research and Innovation for Development (STRIDE) Project think-tank.

In a directive dated July 19, PASUC President Ricardo Rotoras expressed his concern on the need for innovation through collaboration that is the highlight of the forum happening in Cebu next month.

His determination is prompted by the ongoing efforts of the government through PASUC and USAID to develop the economy.

The PASUC-USAID STRIDE Project is expected to draw dynamism from the core group as soon as plans after the meeting at Shangri-La Mactan are laid out.  UPO
