CTU Barili and CTU Argao’s visit to the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in June this year through BIOTEC is considered vital with the institution’s high-profile image in engineering and technology.
BIOTEC, the research partner of the two campuses since last year , not only toured the delegation in the facility but also gave them opportunity to observe researches in different areas of specialization.
CTU and BIOTEC are recently working on studies involving metabolite contents of native Philippine corn and genomic analysis of microorganism extracts from Cebu caves.
The university with BIOTEC partnership in place still seeks to engage with more of Thailand’s research institutions like the AIT per ASEAN goals and objectives. UPO
