Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and Cebu Technological University (CTU) finalized agreement on research collaboration yesterday following initial talks in July that centered on the latter’s research capability.
CTU President Rosein A. Ancheta Jr. and UQAM Department of Management and Technology Professor Michel Plaisent signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU), strengthening the involvement of students and faculty in generating knowledge.
Dr. Plaisent observed how CTU synergy in terms of research can be beneficial to providing sustainable innovations for the country.
Master of Business Administration (MBA), a double diploma project between the two HEIs was also discussed during the program, providing students better perspectives toward attaining a progressive economy.
The recent MoU continues to fuel internationalization paradigms which make CTU in a better position to provide stakeholders more opportunities. KML/RM
