After the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations (AFEO) Governing Board conferred Dr. Rosein A. Ancheta Jr. the ‘ASEAN Engineer’ title, he and 45 other Filipino engineers recently achieved the ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE) honor by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
He passed the intensive evaluation and validation of his educational qualifications and professional experience conducted by the PRC, Board of Civil Engineering, PTC Representative and CHED Representative.
The title ‘ACPE’ officially enables the conferees to register as Foreign Professional Engineer in any ASEAN host country to work with counterpart ACPEs within common areas of competency.
The ASEAN Monitoring Committee on Engineering Services of the Philippines (AMCESP), Philippine Technological Council (PTC), Professional Regulatory Board of Electrical Engineering and Programs Development Division on behalf of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) upheld the awardees during the 6th ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer conferment ceremony on August 25 at the nation’s capital.
