Hard work paid off for central cell in clinching PASUC cultural festival yesterday with 10 wins followed by north cell with 8 and south with 6.
Last night’s pageant favored central cell beauties for Mr. and Ms. SCUAA as well as Mr. PASUC.
CTU Main made wins in the quiz bowl,pencil drawing, charcoal rendering, photography, live band, pop solo, and chorale.
Northern campuses also made their way to staying ahead in extemporaneous speaking, dagliang talumpati, pagkukwento, pagsusulat ng sanaysay, on-the-spot poster making, painting, vocal duet, and street dance.
Hurdling past odds, the southern team composed of satellite campuses in Barili, Moalboal and Argao succeeded in storytelling, essay writing, kundiman, folk dance, contemporary dance and Ms. PASUC.
University Cultural Director Francisco Lucero, in an interview, praised the synergy of the faculty in eyeing for students who’ll take the next level of competition at Bohol Island State University (BISU) Tagbilaran for the regionals. RM
