The newly elected president of the Mathematical Association of Students Cebu (MASC) confidently said in an interview the importance of leadership and determination in building legacy.
CTU BSMath senior Kenneth Cutarra was chosen as president of the organization on Saturday, October 31, during its first general assembly.
Cutarrra has been the group’s officer-in-charge since September and previously served as the committee chair.
The 20-year old student has proven himself strong and ready to take on the responsibilities despite being a graduating student.
“As president, I envision a community where everyone can lead productive lives regardless of the degree they have… . And I do believe that achieving this will require a firm leader with a strong focus on responsibility and value,” Cutarra said.
Another CTU representative Angela Carbonilla was also elected as assistant secretary of the organization.
MASC is an organization that connects universities such as University of the Philippines Cebu, University of San Carlos, University of San Jose-Recoletos, Cebu Technological University, Cebu Normal University, Cebu Institute of Technology, and other higher educational institutions in Cebu City. KML
