“Hard work and failure result in success,” a mantra shared by one of Cebu Technological University’s newly hired BS Mathematics instructor Julius D. Selle after taking 2nd place among 35 takers in the Outcomes-based Quality Assurance (OBQA) evaluation practical exam.
The workshop which exposed teachers to the trends in achieving quality education through accreditation attracted faculty from different parts of the country.
Provided by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) at Central Mindanao University in Bukidnon on November 8 through 10, state universities are expecting more experts to join the pool of accreditors.
“The training provides us the knowledge and helps us gain better understanding on the different standards and procedures of the accreditation process,” said Selle. He also expressed his satisfaction for the impressive outcome of his learning performance.
The 3-day workshop touched on guidelines regarding survey visits, team organization, and evaluation. KML
