CHED, CTU on research dialogues

CHED officials conduct talks with CTU personnel for ongoing research engagements.

Representatives from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) paid a visit to CTU President Rosein A. Ancheta Jr. and Vice President for Research Gloria G. Delan  in early November to primarily discuss on the university’s leading role in research for global consumption.

The meeting was made a platform for future projects between CTU and CHED. Dr. Ancheta and Dr. Delan had an opportunity to share matters about the development of CTU’s research projects and the assessment of its strengths and weaknesses.

Dr. Ancheta highlighted his initiative in increasing the university’s research publications, where the faculty  has been actively engaged.

The university has already established three research centers—-Biodiversity (CTU Argao), Biotechnology (CTU Barili), and Limnological Aquatic Biodiversity and Mariculture Studies Center (CTU San Francisco). And hopefully the Center for Climate Change and Water Substances for next year.

Ensuring quality education for CTU means doing more researches for a  dynamic labor market.KML
