Ready to take on the 9th PASUC literary and arts festival

The 9th Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) Cultural Festival is underway to proclaim new winners from various categories.

Cebu Technological University delegation arrived today at  Sibulan, Negros Oriental in celebration of the yearly feat, honing students’ talents and skills that would very well preserve the country’s  cultural heritage.

Bagging wins at the regionals, CTU is eyeing for major finish in chorale, radio drama, and on-the-spot painting.

Led by CTU Director for Culture and Arts Francisco Lucero, the delegation is prepared to face tough competitions from different regions in the Philippines.

Following the solidarity meeting held hours ago, the chorale group got 13, a strategic number perhaps for the singers to better prepare themselves while seeing previous contestants also do their part.

The threesome is behind the epic win at PASUC regionals, providing techniques to the singers which paved the way for the recent success.

The Siliman University auditorium is housing guests on Friday, December 1,  to see the battle of lung power to win this year’s championship.

Radio drama, on the other hand, will be having rehearsals tomorrow evening before going live the next day via one of Dumaguete’s radio stations.

Scheduled tomorrow morning is the parade and opening ceremony which is where the photo contestants will be drawing their subjects.

Wrapping up on Friday, the celebration is yet to name the champion for this year. RM
