Faculty regent takes on national confederation job

Faculty regent Adeline P. Dela Cruz took oath before new PASUC President Tirso Ronquillo in January to work with newly elected officials of the Confederation of Faculty Associations of State Colleges and Universities of the Philippines (CFASCUP), Inc.

National officers for the current year are—president: Atty. Bernabe L. Figueroa of University of Eastern Philippines); vice president for Luzon: Hon. Ramon L. Sabacan of Central Luzon State University; vice president for National Capital Region: Hon. Edna S. Lavadia of Polytechnic University of the Philippines; vice president for Visayas: Hon. Eric A. Remoroza of Cebu Normal University; vice president for Mindanao: Hon. Mohamadtaha S. Pendaliday of Cotabato Foundation College of Science and Technology; secretary: Hon. Adeline P. Dela Cruz of Cebu Technological University; treasurer: Hon. Maria Teresa J. Manzano of Camarines Sur Polytechnic College; auditor: Hon. Ramon Ramon E. Purugganan (University of Northern Philippines); business manager: Hon. Jose Emmanuel Rey R. Hipolito, Jr. (Occidental Mindoro State College); and P.R.O.: Hon. Zenaida Faunillan (Bukidnon State University).

Election was held on October 19 last year followed by a turnover of functions on November 13.

Prof. Dela Cruz encourages SUC academics to attend the national convention this March and avail of the lifetime membership. UICPA
