“For years CTU has proven itself to be one of the best universities in the Philippines because of its best practices that have helped students develop themselves more,” said Youthlead Philippines representative Marbert D. Remolador in a privilege speech on March 23 at CTU Main.
Chosen once again as host institution, Cebu Technological University hopes that collaboration with the youth organization would result in a fruitful 6th Philippines Transformative Approaches to Innovative Learning (TRAIL) Summer Camp 2018 on April 11 through 15.
Part of the university’s job is to mobilize the ROTC, Quick Response Team (QRT), and provide equipment for the activities to be conducted. Included in the memorandum of agreement are the benefits accorded to the host— guidebook advertisement, TRAIL Camp registration fee Discount, and staffership slots among many.
Signing the document were CTU President Rosein A. Ancheta Jr., CTU Main NSTP Director Asuncion Monsanto and Mr. Remolador.
The 5-day intensive training program features team-based exercises giving participants the exciting experiences of “learning by doing” and “learning while having fun.”
Various indoor and outdoor activities await the campers. Lectures, solidarity dances, ideation sessions, and reflections pathways aim at keeping leaders grounded.
Engr. Monsanto, who acts as one of the camp administrators, continues to encourage students to join and abide by the life-changing paradigm of the organization. KML/ICPA
