Job vacancies surge at annual fair

Job-seekers  flocked Cebu Technological University, through the university Job Placement Office (JPO),  for the annual fair on Wednesday, April 25.

More than four thousand job vacancies were offered especially to fresh graduates. Hopeful applicants queued at the venue as early as 8 a.m.  for opportunities from 47 companies.

Hired immediately were 45; for trade testing, 140; for medical exam, 1; and for final interview, 648.

For local employment, the top job vacancies are service associates, stock clerks, office clerks, sales assistants, baggers, cashiers, ESL teachers, call center agents, factory workers, and graphic artists.
