New option for southerners as CTU expands in Ginatilan

CTU Ginatilan—-The academic building construction is set to finish in August, just in time for the school opening.

Another extension campus in southern Cebu  is opening this school year, offering information and communication technology and secondary teacher education.

Earlier this month, a memorandum of agreement was signed by 7th District Rep. Peter John D. Calderon, CTU President Rosein A. Ancheta Jr. and Ginatilan Mayor Dean Singco, that certainly impacts the locality as scholarships for the aforesaid degree programs are up for grabs.

In an interview, CTU Chief Administrative Officer Jerlito A. Letrondo spoke as to how the extension campus materialized. “It was when Mayor Dean Singco agreed to providing 2 hectares of land for the 5-million academic building.”

The 6-classroom building is expected to be finished in August, as the second extension campus of CTU Moalboal  is determined to giving education to the locals under the supervision of the current CTU Malabuyoc (extension) campus director Engilbert C. Benolirao.

Letrondo said, “CTU will be working on sustainability and livable learning institution.” Indeed, this will go a long way toward really making CTU Ginatilan on a par with established extension campuses. ICPA
