BIOTEC Human Resource Development Program 2018 selected Jessa Rio (CTU Barili) and Jerwin Zanoria (CTU Tuburan) to learn advanced courses in Thailand from October 2, 2018 through March 25, 2019.
Rio will have inputs on “Effect of light (intensity, spectrum and period) on metabolite contents of medicinal plants under controlled environments in Plant Factory” while Zanoria will train more on “Enhancement of secondary metabolite production of medicinal plants by controlled & stressed environments in Plant Factory.”
Both, who received the notice last week and ten others from Vietnam and Mongolia, are guaranteed a monthly allowance of 15,045 THB. Much needed support from the university allows for airfare and other expenses.
Participants will be accommodated in different training venues as the BIOTEC Headrquarter in Pathum Thani (for Rio and Zanoria). ICPA
