CTU President Rosein A. Ancheta Jr. had Dongseo University’s recognition of the former’s faculty members who served as lecturers during the Asian Summer Program July 9 through 27.
Dr. Edwin Pilapil, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences in CTU Main, taught Speech Communication while Dr. Maria Gypsy Bohol, chairperson for Hospitality and Travel Management in the same campus, had Food and Beverage Service. Both had been given the chance to engage in the activity after applications received positive feedback from the ASP committee.
Participants came from 31 universities in 12 countries to learn from discussions on some of the world’s developments especially in the field of communication.
Students were enrolled in courses such as Asian Englishes Today, Teaching English Across Cultures, Digital Marketing and Social Media Communication Skills in the 21st Century: Empowering Yourself and Others, and Asian Soap Operas.
Lecturers from Dongseo University, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Universiti Malaysia Perlis, National Formosa University, Japan University of Economics, Cebu Technological University and other leading learning institutions comprised this year’s ASP experts.
