Semiconductor and Electronics Industries in the Philippines , Inc. (SEIPI) in Muntinlupa City hinges on Cebu province’s major institutions —Cebu Technological University (CTU), University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) and the University of San Carlos (USC) —for development and sustainability pursuits in the field of electronics.

The pact sealed in August indicated the benefits of such a collaboration—donation of equipment, cash grants, student scholarships, on-the-job training, work-immersion opportunities, and lecturing stints.

SEIPI Cebu member universities—CTU, USC, USJ-R—are expected to outlive present practices for more advanced techniques in aforesaid field through student-academic-company triad.
