The 4th Central Visayas Health Research and Innovation Conference (CVHRIC) centered on mental health in May of this year at the Cebu Institute of Technology University, where CTU Vice President for Research and Development Adrian Ybañez and CTU Director for Research Ethics Sheilalaine Romulo served as moderators.
The use of current technology in aiding the student’s mental well-being was looked into by several participants in their research presentations that generally hinged on this year’s theme: Research Innovations for Improved Health and Wellness.
Some 300 participants—health professionals, students, academics, and members of the industry—joined the conference sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Philippine Consortium for Health Research and Development (PCHRD) and the Central Visayas Consortium for Health Research and Development (CVCHRD).
CTU became part of CVCHRD just last year. It funded the university’s research project on Person’s Living with HIV (PLHIV) nearing implementation. Office of the University Vice President
