Expertise on biosafety shared to PSHS faculty

Philippine Science High School (PSHS) faculty learned from CTU Vice President for Research and Development Adrian Ybaňez information on biosafety and biosecurity last month in Manila.

Dr. Ybaňez shared his knowledge on the importance of Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee(IACUC) and the concepts and regulations on animal welfare in the country.

Participants were graduates of Philippine Advanced Biosafety Officers Training (PhABOT), who are now employed in 16 campuses of PSHS. Dr. Ybaňez is also a PhABOT graduate (fifth batch). Office of the Vice President for Research and Development
