Ingenuity is limitless in ‘makerspaces’—a transcendent principle put across to CTU Danao Fablab manager Christine Omela Ocampo, Operations Head Marsan Dua and members of the third batch at the Makerspace X Ed Trainers Training in Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology on July 17 through 19.
With the training on its third leg, it can be drawn that institutions are flanking education trend with technology optimization on all corners to arrive at innovative solutions on a massive scale.
3D printing, laser cutting, 3D designing and modeling, CNC precision milling and 3D printing were basically focused on. Hands-on activities made third batch of trainees materialize 3D-printed outputs.
Additional skills learned are enough to stimulate imaginative pathways in developing uniquely exclusive prototypes utilizing DTI-sponsored state-of-the-art machines in Danao campus’ facility, Engr. Ocampo told UICPA, who is looking forward to the facility’s launching anytime soon.
