Professor meets with founder of European Erasmus Mundus Program while training in Switzerland

A faculty member of the College of Arts and Sciences in CTU Main met with  the European Erasmus Mundus Program (EEMP)  in Geneva, Switzerland in August.

Little did Social Sciences Professor Ryan Urbano know that making it to the international capacity-building workshop with partners, experts and staff would spare him the chance of rubbing elbows with the EEMP founder Prof. Marcel V.d. Voorde.

“I’m grateful to this man, Prof. Marcel V.d. Voorde, … I had the opportunity to study in Europe under this program.  Prof. V.d. Voorde is our training keynote speaker and has directed nuclear research at CERN here in Switzerland,” , said Dr. Urbano, in a statement to the Internationalization and ASEAN Integration Office.

Urbano was invited by and gained insights on the the ethical platforms of international education. IAI/UICP
