Cebu Technological University commemorated its 10th founding anniversary on November 9, pointing to benefits from partner industries—-Dassault Sytemes, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC), and Wellmade Motors & Development Corporation (WMDC).
Dassault Sytemes, the university’s 3DExperience-industry partner, sealed commitment to further industry 4.0 initiatives with some of its simulation technologies.
MMPC Vice President Masayoshi Miyatake assured training among automotive instructors and students of CTU Tuburan apart from donating Mitsubishi Mirage G4.
Rounding up the benefits were WMDC CEO Phillip Tan’s donations— refurbished milling machine, reconditioned hydraulic presser with base, used Hyundai porter, and used Mitsubishi 4d56 engine assembly.
WMDC, alongside Rotary Club of Cebu West, has been of help to CTU Tuburan, for years now. CEO Tan encouraged everyone, in his speech, to do the same as CTU Tuburan did in approaching him toward strengthening school-industry relationship.
CTU Tuburan hosted this year’s founding anniversary, drawing the biggest number of CTU personnel, by far, from all 23 campuses since CTU became a university. Prof. Catherine Loseñara/ICPA Tuburan
