Recognitions were handed to a group of people who tirelessly work to help Cebu Technological University-Public Employment Service Office (CTU-PESO) remain as one of the top employment providers in Region 7.
Among those awarded were implementers of DOLE programs——Fitzgerald Kintanar (CTU Argao ); Ruby Marie Ebol (CTU Barili/Pinamungajan), Glenn Peñoza (CTU Bitoon ), Quennie Rose Hinaloc (CTU Carmen); Jocelle Del Rosario (CTU Daanbantayan ); Mildred Malapongit (CTU Danao ), Arianne Flor Noynay (CTU Naga/San Fernando ); Sergio Magpuyo Jr. (CTU Tuburan ); Junsell Suringa (CTU Malabuyoc ); Ernesto Saliente Jr. (CTU Moalboal ); May Flerida Culango(CTU San Francisco ); Lavenia Orbeta (CTU Main ); Donnavelle Mantos (CTU Main ) and Sushimita Alagbay (CTU Main ).
Some CTU officials were also recognized for their significant contribution to the office—–Vice President for Administration and Finance Jerlito Letrondo, Dr. Mario Rebucas Jr., Dr. Dennis Capuyan, Dr. Rino Anthony M. Demetrio, Dr. Renissa Quiñones, Dr. Edgar Tibay, and CTU-PESO head Nona Fe Estolas.
CTU Tuburan was also awarded as a top-performing campus. Hinaloc, Magpuyo, Orbeta, Mantos and Alagbay received separate awards for being top-performing job placement officers.
Uy commended CTU for helping DOLE 7 implement its key programs.
“DOLE 7 won’t reach this far without the help of CTU. CTU has been winning regional and national awards, and we are proud with what CTU has been doing.”
Dr. Ancheta, who graced the affair, praised CTU-PESO also for being one of the most productive offices in the university. “I congratulate CTU-PESO for its remarkable achievements. The office has been very supportive, and I hope everybody will cooperate and help attain the goals of the university.”
Estolas, on the other hand, stressed on the importance of teamwork in keeping CTU-PESO’s lofty status: “We have to remember that there is no “i” in team but there is “i” in win.” CTU MAIN-UPO
