VP for research now part of TroCCAP Council

The Vice President for Research and Development of the Cebu Technological University (CTU) is now a member of the Tropical Council for Companion Animal Parasites (TroCCAP) Council.

Dr. Adrian Ybanez, who is also a professor in the College of Veterinary Medicine, joined 14 other council members of the non-profit organization.

According to its website, troccap.com, TroCCAP’s mission is to independently inform, guide and make best-practice recommendations to veterinarians and allied health professionals for the diagnosis, treatment and control of companion animal parasites in the tropics and sub-tropics, with the aim of protecting animal and human health.

Dr. Ybañez is actively engaged in small animal medicine, parasitology and tick-borne disease researches and is the recipient of numerous esteemed national and professional awards.
