International volunteers flocked to CTU Main on December 5, 2019 for the annual gathering themed “Volunteer an Inclusive Future.”
Cultures converged during the International Volunteer’s Day (IVD) as participants from Austria, Germany, Japan, Spain and the Philippines shared experiences on how to best address sustainable development goals.
Philippine representatives were from Feed the Children, Nature’s Spring Foundation, Bukas Palad, Salvation Army, University of San Jose Recoletos (USJR), University of Cebu (UC), and Cebu Technological University (CTU).
Ambisyon 2040 in community development, education, environment, health, and social entrepreneurship were also promoted at the event.
The Global Initiatives for Exchange and Development (GIED) partnered with CTU to materialize IVD, as mandated by the United Nations to raise awareness on the pivotal role of groups and volunteers around the world. ICPA/IAI
