CTU to host 1st National Conference for the Arts, Sciences, and Education

Newly appointed Vice President for Academic Affairs Edwin Pilapil is all set for his first major event of the year— the 1st National Conference for the Arts, Sciences, and Education (N-CASE) themed “Accelerating Human Sciences through Research” on February 19 through 21, 2020 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino.

Initially planning to accommodate only local and regional participants, Dr. Pilapil and committee members decidedly considered  national  prospects thereafter to diversify inputs from students and academics.

N-CASE is open for scholarly presentations, bringing human sciences perspectives into the fore by  researchers, social thinkers, and scientists around the country.

The conference also features local, national and international   guest speakers who will add depth to issues present in the arts, sciences and education.

Dr. Pilapil aligned the endeavor with the  National Higher Education Research Agenda 2019-2020 in Strengthening Governance for Philippine Higher Education.

In several committee meetings, Dr. Pilapil shared his expectation  of CTU academics, who haven’t had any research presentation, to participate in the event.  /Ale Taneo
