FOUR faculty members of the College of Engineering joined close to a hundred researchers at the 4th International Multidisciplinary Research Congress Conference in Tacloban City.
Engr. Joel Tadle, Engr. Gilbert Sulagpo, Engr. Welin Narvios and Engr. Joenel Lumbab were among the participants who presented their respective research papers.
It was an eventful undertaking for the CTU representatives as they brought home some accolades. Engr. Tadle and Engr. Narvios bagged “Best in Paper Presentation” award in their respective sessions, while Engr. Sulagpo went home with the “Best in Powerpoint Presentation” award.
Engr. Tadle presented “Room Automation using Integrated Temperature Counter Control System for Electric Fans,” which according to him sought to develop a room automation using Integrated Temperature Counter (InTec) Control System for electric fans.
“The system uses a microcontroller, temperature sensors and light-dependent sensor,” he added.
Themed “Vigorous Research and Collaboration for Sustainable World”, the event in May of 2019 also welcomed participants from India and Indonesia. /CTU MAIN-UPO
