CTU Argao depicted solidarity in fighting environmental degradation as the main feature of its 75th founding anniversary.
The three-day celebration themed “Making Ripples for Seventy-Five Years in Celebrating the Past & Embracing the Future” had activities such as mangrove planting and river clean up.
Taloot, Talaytay, Jomgao, Panadtaran, and Lantad benefited from the program. These areas have been CTU Argao’s community extension partners for years now.
Non-teaching personnel, students and faculty acted upon the United Nation’s mandate channeled to local government units (LGUs).
Meanwhile, other side events included income-generating project (IGP) booth opening, glitterati parade, solidarity dance, color run, the techno festival, and the coronation for Mr. & Ms. CTU Argao.
Campus Director Juanita Pinote alongside other campus directors in Cebu City, Danao, Tuburan, Moalboal, Carmen, San Francisco, and Daanbanatayan made efforts in materializing the commemorative celebration. Prof. Evangeline Rellin/ICPA Argao
