Office of the Sanggunian ng Bayan crafted Resolution No.11, Series of 2020, indicating Mayor Elanito A. Peña’s decision to partner with CTU President Rosein A. Ancheta Jr. for another CTU campus in Minglanilla.
Expansion projects in the pipeline, including the recent bid by Mayor Peña, are the fruitions of Dr. Ancheta’s declaration during the CTU Tabuelan academic building inauguration, where he challenged municipalities in the province to cooperate with CTU, to run consistent with the Education for All (EFA) policy.
Minglanilla is second to Consolacion to have lobbied the idea to congress at the outset of the year for a CTU extension campus. Liloan came earlier, with a House bill already materialized last year.
Sangunian ng Bayan members are seen actively collaborating with LGUs to provide new first class municipalities with sustainable means for socio-economic development, as CTU has popularized its education for sustainable development (ESD) degree programs. Ale Taneo
