Typhoon Ursula aftermath sees 47-M project rising in CTU Daanbantayan

Newly appointed Vice President for Administration and Finance Jerlito Letrondo (R, front)) shows solidarity with CTU Daanbantayan at the groundbreaking ceremony for new admin building.

Typhoon Ursula’s lashing out of 10 classrooms in CTU Daanbantayan last year proved useful in morphing the structure into a Php 47-million academic building expected to finish next year.

While the gym construction is underway, newly appointed Campus Director Ruben Ungui creates another 21-room, 3-storey facility for holistic development among Technology and Engineering students, whose numbers have dramatically increased over the years.

“This ceremonial groundbreaking sends a message of hope primarily to our students and teachers and the community as well. I am glad of your continuous development through your vibrant President Dr. Rosein A. Ancheta Jr.,” said Municipal Mayor Sun J. Shimura in his speech.
