Battling  the COVID-19 crisis has never been more meaningful to  CTU Tuburan, with bayanihan spirit  hectoring threat to support  frontliners in the municipality.

CTU Tuburan Campus Director Pedrito Pontillas ordered the production of face shields for the health workers  in Tuburan District Hospital, Rural Health Unit, and Philippine National Police.

“Let us beat COVID-19 by supporting our frontliners. This is an opportunity to help … in this time of crisis,” said Dr. Pontillas.

Face shields, with fabrication cost sourced from Extension Services Office, were designed in the campus’ fablab by  Zandra Mendoza and Siegfried Mendoza.

“Lives have been upended and unsafe. We need to protect each other … and this is CTU-TC’s way of extending  little help,” said campus extension director.
