Dr. Christina Ylaya-Pacubas and Dr. Leovigilda Bithay of CTU Main’s College of Management and Entrepreneurship participated in the Philippine Society for Public Administration (PSPA) International Conference in November of last year in Cavite.
Presented was the paper titled “Standard Performance in Public Framework,” which Dr. Pacubas co-authored with Gumer Castillo of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
In line with the event’s theme,“Exploring Frontiers in Governance 4.0 and SDGs: Development, Directions, and Dysfunctions,” the study assessed the quality of performance of DPWH Cebu workers.
As one of the plenary speakers, UP Diliman’s Dr. Alex Brillantes Jr. primarily touched on the rapidly changing technological advancements and the issues surrounding them.
Furthermore, other topics discussed included development entrepreneurship, sustainable development goals, and research methods in public administration.
Pacubas said that much inspiration at the event was drawn from political figures and presidents of state universities who attended. -rmmm/ccmr
