Employees urged to frequent newly opened workout facility in CTU Danao

CTU Danao campus director Rose Mary Almacen urged colleagues in a statement to spend time doing routines at the campus’ newly opened facility to maintain  a  healthier and stronger mind and body,  following the decision of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) to reopen  gyms months ago.

The 500,000-thousand wellness station  is equipped with a treadmill, stationary bicycle, dumbbell, barbell set, ellipticals, and resistance bands that have regularly been used by the teaching and non-teaching staff daily from 4:00 PM onwards.

Walk-ins are allowed from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with a fee of Php 50.00  to cover  maintenance. This also sends the message of inclusivity as one of CTU’s primordial concerns.

With its construction of tennis and badminton courts, oval, covered multipurpose gym, and swimming pool, CTU Danao has never been this ready to promote health and wellness among its constituents.

The management ensures that protocols as wearing of face masks and social distancing are strictly followed. Sarah Jane Colina/ICPA Danao
