CTU Tuburan Gender and Development (GAD) unites with the nation in having a month-long campaign for women themed “Juana Laban sa Pandemya: Kaya!” this March.
Campus director Ma. Carla Abaquita urged female colleagues at the ceremony to assert their rights in nation building and added that success in doing such is affected by how men act upon their responsibilities.
Moreover, Dr. Abaquita encouraged everyone to value each other in achieving the academe’s four-fold function.
Throughout the entire month, CTU is placing emphasis on achievements of both men and women. Significantly, skills training and counselling on various issues are provided to heighten awareness of women’s role in the society.
