Vietnam’s Van Lang University partners with CTU

The Cebu Technological University (CTU) and Van Lang University (VLU) formalized their partnership through a virtual signing of  Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)  on March 29th.

Both CTU President Rosein Ancheta Jr. and VLU President Tran Thi My Dien decided on doing research collaborations and technology transfer.

“We have to assure that we can come up with good outputs in this endeavor,” said Dr. Ancheta.

In response, VLU President Dien said he’d  look into CTU’s faculty and student exchange and give attention to its fablabs in campuses in Cebu City, Danao, Argao, Daanbantayan, Tuburan and Carmen.

VLU is one of the private universities in Vietnam that strives to actively contribute to education, research, and community service.

“Our internalization must have our commitment and must contribute to the development of our nation. It should not be all about MOA or MOU signing only,” Dr. Ancheta added.

Meanwhile, Vice President for Academic Affairs Edwin Pilapil clarified that specific details of the initiative will be indicated in the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) in the future, which will include short-term and long-term training programs and mobilities./Roedel Blanche Suan/CTU Main
