CTU Tuburan hosts 1st research forum

RECOD 2021 guests comprise the panel to assess research papers, posters and products presented virtually or in person.

Newly appointed campus director launched first-ever Research Exhibit, Competition and Online Discussions (RECOD 2021) for CTU Tuburan faculty and students on June 15th and 16th.

“RECOD 2021 is another milestone for CTU-Tuburan… . I am both humbled and honored on[sic] this research collaboration to develop new alliances that will help us achieve our goals in a variety of scientific and academic disciplines,” said Dr.  Ma. Carla Abaquita, who took office in May.

Guest speakers  Grayfield Bajao of the University of Cebu and Aurelio Vilbar of the University of the Philippines delved  more into patenting and publishing.

Themed “Strengthening Research Culture and Innovations amid COVID-19 Pandemic,” the platform allowed virtual and in-person presentations.

Recognitions included best research papers, presentations (research and poster), and  outputs. 

Among those in either first or second place in any of the aforesaid categories were: Smart Farming Using Aquaponics System, Modular Approach in Teaching Mathematics, Seaweed (Eucheuma cottonii) as Feed Supplement Improves Growth and Egg Quaity of Quail Coturnix japonica), Power Supply Inverter using Arduino Uno. /Angen May Fabro-Charcos/ICPA Tuburan
