CTU Bantayan welcomed more trainees on dressmaking early in June to support the “Sustainable Livelihood for the Communities in Cebu.”
After the three-day workshop in January, the program resumed with ten residents of Bantayan Island to help them gain employment opportunities.
Lead trainer Esther Medalla and Joseph Arquillano of CTU Main facilitated the National Certificate (NC) 2 assessment and recommended the dressmaking program for the business model.
The extension campus’ initiatives, attuned to those of the mother campus in Daanbantayan, had backing from the University Vice President for Research and Development and the University Director for Extension Services. Nikkithea Beduya/ICPA Daanbantayan/Shaira Ejes/CTU Main
