Batangas State University (BatStateU) and Cebu Technological University agreed upon Building Research and Innovation Development Goals for Engineering SUCs (BRIDGES) program following the MOA signing on July 14th.
Launched by the former, BRIDGES seeks to address issues in the community through active research collaboration with selected engineering state universities and colleges (SUCs) across the country, per the document.
Initially proposed by BatSU President Tirso Ronquillo, the program shall be co-funded by partner institutions.
Apart from CTU, other participating SUCs are Camiguin Polytechnic State College, Central Philippines State University, Ifugao State University, Northern Negros State College of Science and Technology, and Technological University of the Philippines.
Moreover, the MOA indicated an implementation of the VIRTUALTOURS.PH project, a virtual reality-based platform to faciliate the program’s activities.UICPA
