The Central Visayas Consortium for Health Research and Development declared Dr. Sheilalaine Romulo winner of the oral research competition on June 14th.
“Women and Care: Reflections on the Lived Experience of COVID-19 Sufferers” was Dr. Romulo and colleague Dr. Ryan Urbano’s study on stories of COVID-19 survivors.
“There’s nothing in the world more powerful than a good story,” said Romulo, who is presently the director for CTU Center for Social Innovation.
The competition was part of the 6th Central Visayas Health Research and Innovation Conference themed “New Normal to New Future: Research and Innovations towards Universal Health.”
Various universities and colleges in the region competed in oral research competitions, research poster competitions, exhibit booths, research infomercials, and research infographics. /Almie Mata/ CTU Main.
