Stabilizing connectivity via National Broadband Program

Director for Automation, Innovation, and Computing (AIC) Johannes Camasura (C), in behalf of CTU,  takes part in the nationwide launching ceremony of the NBP Resiliency Route on September 27, 2021 at Fort San Pedro.

CTU strengthens partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), ensuring stable connectivity and digital security via the National Broadband Program (NBP).

The NBP Resiliency Route, connected to Singapore, features high-speed capacity distribution in  various parts of the country. As a supplemental infrastructure, it serves as a  protection loop and a backup or redundancy connection (www.dict.gov.ph).

Through this program, the government promotes access to cheaper and stronger internet services, thereby cutting  internet subscriptions costs.

Previously, CTU had been coordinating with DICT to fast-track the digital connectivity across campuses through the Government Network (GovNet). UICPA
