DTI, CTU Danao conduct livelihood training in Medellin

Coconut-water-treated embutido, pork tocino, chorizo, longganiza, pork siomai and empanada are some of those produced during the CTU-DTI  training on meat processing in Medellin.

Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and CTU Danao strengthened the northerner’s means to thrive by providing training on meat processing in Medellin, Cebu, in November.

CTU Danao specialists for production and extension Gladies Mae Olivar, Engr. Christine Omela Ocampo, Dr. Christeodoflor Ramos, and Dr. Corazon Macachor conducted skills training to 23 beneficiaries, while DTI provided the venue, supplies, materials, and meals.

Persons with disabilities (PWDs), single parents, and typhoon “Yolanda” survivors had hands-on experience with equipment donated by DTI.
