CTU Danao’s Fablab received 3.5 million worth of equipment from the Department of Trade and Industry on December 2, 2021.
The 3D printers, embroidery machine, and handheld 3D scanner supplied by Omnifab, Inc., are expected to enhance innovative directions of students, faculty and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
“Digital transformation becomes more evident as students and faculty engage in new prototyping applications; digital transformation becomes more visible on campus,” said CTU Danao Fablab Director Christine Omela Ocampo.
Since its launching in 2019, Fablab has opened more opportunities for individuals in this field. Sarah Jane Colina/ICPA CTU Danao
