The Research and Development Office of CTU Danao Campus in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Danao City holds a presentation for SIDLAK DANAO Project Proposal on March 14, 2022, at Campus Director’s Office.
12 research proposals were presented by the faculty researchers according to their respective areas of specializations, such as agriculture, fisheries, tourism, and water systems, which were evaluated by selected government officials of Danao City. The presented project proposals would be funded by Danao City Local Government Unit.
This collaboration with the Danao City LGU and CTU Danao Campus is a great opportunity in strengthening the socio-economic status of the locality as it provides an avenue to seek potential solutions in improving the livelihood of the City’s residents through the action research initiated by the Vice President for Research and Development, Dr. Adrian P. Ybañez.
“As the Director for Research & Development of the campus, I am astounded by the LGU’s willingness and commitment to team up with CTU on this project… I am looking forward to a fruitful and meaningful research and extension engagement grounded in the University faculty’s expertise. This external grant initiative is indeed a milestone of the University as it projects direct community contribution aligned with the locality’s priority”, said Engr. Christine Omela V. Ocampo, Research Director of CTU-Danao Campus. –Sarah Jane Colina/ICPA Danao Campus
