The COVID-19 outbreak has compelled many universities to switch to the online delivery of lessons in active cooperation with the guidelines presented by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF).
In accordance with IATF Resolution No. 164, series of 2022, wherein the conduct of limited face-to-face classes for higher educational institutions operating in areas under Alert Level 1 are approved, the Cebu Technological University- Argao Campus filed an application to reopen for face-to-face set up this academic year 2022-2023.
To complete the procedure in the gradual re-opening policies per CHED and DOH Joint Memorandum Circular 2021-004, CTU Argao had invited its stakeholders for a technical consultation that transpired last Monday, March 28, 2022 at 1:00pm-5:00pm in CTU Argao Conference Room.
With the use of a blended learning set-up, this activity was participated by the faculty, PTA, students, representatives from the Local Government Unit and other relevant stakeholders. Questions in line with the possible limited face-to-face set-up were raised and were clearly answered by the CTU-AC’s crisis management committee.
This process of technical consultation is one of the ways to guarantee that the university is well-equipped to meet the demands of the students if approved to offer a limited face-to-face set-up of learning. Though change is quite hard, if all of the stakeholders have the same vision, work together for a unified mission, then they will surely achieve the goals.-April Jane G. Sales/ICPA Argao Campus
